This is how everyday started for us during the first week of September. We went to Milos, a small greek island in the Cyclades group, for a friend's wedding. That was the excuse anyway, the wedding was one day of that week. The rest was for sleeping, eating, swimming and finally getting some sunshine.
We stayed in a small studio at Stolidi Hotel in Zephyria, and rented a car. Nothing in the island is more than 10km apart, so it's pretty easy to get around. A lot of people rent motorcycles and buggies instead, but I honestly can't recommend that... I don't know anyone who rented a buggy which didn't break down after a few days. I did meet one person who managed to go through 3 different ones that broke down in totally different ways... So, car *thumbs up*.
We went to a different beach everyday, and went on boat trip to go to ones on the west side. That half of the island isn't accessible by car - or rather, the car rental agency will make sure to tell you you can't drive there.
Some beaches were more photogenic than others, and in some days I was more interested in taking photos than others, so here's 3 of them, all on the south side of the island. The others will get their own posts soon :)
